APS DFD Welcomes You!

The LOC seeks to highlight the impact of fluid dynamics research on global challenges, such as education and inequality, water security, climate change, renewable energy, health, and our understanding of the universe. We thus encourage our community to submit abstracts, nominations for invited talks, and mini-symposia and focus session proposals on these topics. We hope that disseminating these technical topics to a general audience will help us build a stronger fluid dynamics community.

Being cognizant that not everyone will be able to attend in person, we will offer our unique APS DFD opportunities to virtual participants as well. Regular talks will be pre-recorded and uploaded by all presenters for viewing on our virtual platform.

With key initiatives and engagement with industry, academia, and national labs we hope to deliver a long-lasting positive experience for you here in Indy from November 20 to 22, 2022! Indianapolis International Airport is one of the top 10 airports in USA, and the city is home of the Indy 500, the NBA’s Indiana Pacers and the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts.

On behalf of the APS DFD LOC, we look forward hosting you here in Indianapolis.
